What is the difference between EIPS and ESDK?

EIPS includes pre-built 32 and 64 bit DLLs specifically for PC/Windows targets. ESDK includes the complete portable ‘C’ stack source code for cross-platform development, along with 32 and 64bit DLLs for PC/Windows targets with the ability to build the source and DLLs.

Does the EIPS also provide Adapter functionality?

Yes, EIPS supports full Scanner and Adapter functionality simultaneously.

Does EIPS work with Windows standard TCP/IP stack?

Yes, it works with Windows standard WinSock TCP/IP stack and with physical and virtual standard Ethernet NICs on your PC.

Does the EIPS provide a real-time environment that works with Windows?

No, the EIPS stack runs in standard Windows and is subject to the performance of the PC, as Windows is not a real-time operating system (RTOS). That said, the performance of the EIPS DLL meets the requirements of most applications.
