The Challenge
Auto-Owners set out to retire their legacy ImageRight system, an effort that required migrating 150 million documents as well as workflows.
Our Innovative Solution
Using Pyramid Solutions Migration Manger tool, Auto-Owners was able to:
- Migrate all documents to IBM FileNet
- Reproduce active “document routing” workflows from ImageRight in FileNet.
- Convert 32 branch offices over 32 weekends.
- Provide a manageable and scalable approach to moving the content with the tool.
- The artifacts moved included document annotations, comments, ImageRight activities and file marks
- Moved the ImageRight artifacts to IBM Case Manager constructs (cases, folders, comments, and workflows) in the destination repository.
With this solutions, Auto–Owners has reduced their conversion time by almost 80%.
As a result, they are meeting their objectives of claims efficiency and improved customer service.
