Client Overview
The nation’s largest diversified financial services organization. They provide retail, business, and residential mortgage banking, wealth and asset management, and specialized services for corporations and government entities including corporate banking, real estate finance, and asset-based lending.
The Challenge
After several acquisitions, our client more than doubled the size of their clientele and had a proliferation of repositories with different indexing approaches that were not 100% integrated into their existing loan organization system.
With the new systems and integrations, ensuring security was a major concern and needed to be a top priority to support business growth. Knowing this, our client realized bringing on a new LOS would require a new methodology in place to process and access content.
They sought out a vendor who could assist them with this and wound up choosing Pyramid Solutions. Our client was impressed with our proven background working with other financial services companies as well as expertise in integrating directly with loan origination systems.
Our Innovative Solution
To best strategize how to move forward with a solution, we identified the client’s challenges and business goals and put them together in a roadmap. After the roadmap was accepted by the client, Pyramid Solutions implemented and extended the client’s content repository and user interface, IBM FileNet P8 and IBM Content Navigator, to provide a single view of any of the financial service’s clients across all repositories.
Since the repositories were indexed differently, Pyramid Solutions consolidated the information and enhanced the metadata to provide a single method in place for accessing the disparate document repositories. We also configured IBM Content Navigator to have a stand-alone portal to provide content in context and added links to capture for document submission.
Currently, over 3,000 users utilize this solution and our client continues to grow and meet customer expectations!
