Large Financial Institution Ensures Compliance Needs Are Met with IBM Upgrade
Client Overview
Headquartered in Dallas, Texas, our client is one of the largest financial institutions in the country. They provide companies credit and non-credit financial products and services, deliver personalized financial products and services to consumers, and serves the needs of high net worth clients and institutions.
The Challenge
Dealing with an outdated IBM FileNet Image Services and eProcess environment, our client kept running into major reliability issues — putting them severely at risk. The problem had gotten so bad that the bank was put on the Regulator’s Report for compliance issues, which could hinder attracting new customers.
To combat this, our client set a goal to modernize their applications and improve their business processes in order to set a foundation for future growth and improve their compliance efforts.
Our Innovative Solution
To help our client, Pyramid Solutions kicked off an enterprise-wide solution that would expand capabilities and business value.
This started with upgrading our client’s outdated environment to IBM FileNet and IBM Case Manager. IBM Case Manager would be integrated into the loan origination system to streamline the lending process.
Once up and running, we used our very own tools and best practices to move over 25 million documents in 43 different configurations to the new system.
As part of the configuration, Pyramid Solutions also included a repeat offender search that would allow automatic lookups to search publicly available government websites for offenders while masking personal information such as social security numbers.
Additionally, enterprise-wide searching was established using IBM Content Navigator, so that documents could be found easily and quickly, no matter where they lived.
